• 1- Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
• 2- Load and unload goods
• 3- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• 4- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• 5- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• 6- Perform preventive maintenance
• 7- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• 8- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
